Rain, rain and more rain

I have a short week coming up at work this week.  I'm taking Friday off to go with the Bank Holiday next Monday to make a nice long weekend.  So I don't mind too much that the weekend is over too quickly again.  Quite a lot of time this weekend has been spent looking out of the window and wondering just how much more it can rain!  The garden is saturated and  the gravel bed we finally got finished seems in danger of floating away.  Still, everything is very lush just now.  It's just a pity we can't go out and enjoy it!

Today has been a very lazy day, mainly spent in front of the television, watching among other things a great old comedy, Carry On Sergeant, this afternoon.  At least when I head out into the rain this week, of which we are promised a lot more, I will be nice and refreshed and relaxed!
