More snow

For once this week I only spent a little time shopping in town which suited me very well. It wasn't the most pleasant day to be there as the snow we were promised - and warned about as it was supposed to be very bad - arrived this morning, naturally not as bad as promised but bad enough. And once it stopped coming down it immediately turned to mush. Wading through an inch or so of slush is not pleasant! But I got done what I wanted and tomorrow I'm not actually doing any shopping! What with all that this afternoon and a very busy morning at work I think the mince pies I brought home were definitely earned in spite of us saying the diet was going to be strict for awhile!

I do love snow but when it turns to mush I absolutely hate it. Every now
and then one must indulge themselves....I usually do that in the weekend
then the rest of the week I'm very strict.
