For the first time in what seems like weeks but was probably just days the sun was shining when I woke up this morning.  It's so much easier to get up when it isn't gloomy and raining!  The walk for the Metro was very nice with the sun peering through fluffy clouds and turning them all shades of yellow and gold.  Work was good, plenty to do and something encouraging too.  I had to take a student up to one of the floors to get him a key for a room.  Two floors, eight shortish flights of stairs and not out of breath when I got to the top!  I must be fitter than I thought.

The only problem with today has been my sinuses.  I have had so much trouble for over a week now with them and today my head ached, my eyes ached, my ears ached, even my teeth ached.  I need to do some serious research into solutions to them!

But  a nice lunch out with Mum and Dad helped soothe my various aches and pains.  I met them on the Metro and we went to one of our favourite pubs.  We all had the same thing, something Dad had tried a couple of times and really liked but Mum and I had never had as just about everything in it is a no no for the diet.  Bacon and brie panini with for some reason chicken in it.  Well, we both love bacon and we both love brie and now we both love them when they are together!  If there was a fault it was that there was too much.  We even left some of our favourite onion rings!

I also got our fireworks for Guy Fawkes in a couple of weeks time.  Two boxes for the price of one so we'll have a nice show for that.

Mmmmmmmm lunch sounds delicious.

I remember the parties with the huge bonfires for Guy Fawkes when I was there. Loads of fun!

Sinus pain where even your teeth hurt...that was last week. I empathize!

Lunch was delicious, Brenda. It's a lovely night, Guy Fawkes, the smell of the fireworks and the taste of the jacket potatos is nice too!

Sinus pain is horrible, Sally! Hope yours are alright now.
