Favourite TV

posted Saturday, 2 August 2003
1 The X-Files
Classy, scary, funny. Intelligent TV and beautifully shot.

2 The Simpsons
I love Martin, a combination of obnoxiousnous and pathos. Milhouse is too cute
for words. Principal Skinner and Mrs Krabappel great story.

3 Futurama
Witty.

4 Spooks
Well-written, up-to-date. Tom is a genuinely decent man. How often are they
allowed to be portrayed like that in TV these days.

5 Eastenders
Well-written and on the whole well-acted. It can go through the doldrums but
when it's good it's excellent.

6 ER
Frenetic and probably not very realistic but still fun.

7 I, Claudius
Wonderful and accessible.

8 University Challenge
I'm sure the questions are getting easier however.

9 Inspector Morse
Intelligent and great backdrops.

10 A History of Britain
Great stuff.
