Favourite Books

posted Saturday, 2 August 2003
This is more of a tricky one as I love reading so much that as long as a book is well-written I'm almost bound to like it. Probably categories are best with this one.

They would have to include crime fiction both British and American, historical biographies, historical novels and the classics, Jane Austin, the Brontes, Dickens, Hardy, Kipling, Wilkie Collins, Forster.

In fact you name it I'll at least try and read it.

Read Crime and Punishment? Great book, depressing, but great.
Do you like Raymond Chandler

No to Crime and Punishment. Only read The Big Sleep but love the films.

Hi Cristin, thanks for dropping by. That's a tricky one. Depends on what type of reading you like. At the minute my favourites are a couple of crime writers, Kathy Reichs and Mark Billingham. Good reads and real tension.

I like Crime Writers the best. I've read Kathy Reichs but not Mark Billingham. Thanks. If you haven't yet you should check out Harlan Coben, John Gilstrap, Stuart Woods and Barry Eisler.
