Blue skies blue sea

The weather keeps on getting better, hotter and sunnier and we thought we should make the most of it so we arranged that after work I'd get the Metro down to Tynemouth and meet Mum and Dad for some lunch and some good sea air. Things didn't look too good at first as I was sitting on the Metro deep in my book and suddenly I thought - mm it's gone very chilly. I looked out the window and there was a very heavy sea fret. By the time I met Mum and Dad the mist was rolling up the street and the Priory was nowhere to be seen. But we got our lunch and luckily by the time we'd finished the mist had started to clear and after a short time we could see lovely blue sky and sea . We were surprised at how many people there were as we thought it would be very quiet at this time of year. We took a walk along the front towards the other bay then decided the heat was getting a bit much and made our way home. The year's first try at some sea air!
